Herrick patrons can borrow eBooks, eAudiobooks by visiting the web sites of our digital book vendors. See the sections below for a description of each collection, system requirements, etc.
 
 Digital Magazines

Browse our collection of popular titles with no holds, no checkout periods, and no limit to the number of magazines you can download. Read instantly in your browser or download to your mobile device with the Zinio app. Explore the world, one issue at a time.
 
Because some email providers block confirmation emails, we recommend creating an account at http://www.zinio.com/ before creating an account on the library's RBDigital Zinio site linked here. Please proceed directly to zinio.com, create an account and wait for a confirmation email verifying your new account. Then come back to this site and click on the Zinio link. You may need to create a webmail account (gmail, yahoo, hotmail) if your provider blocks your verification email. Use your library card to borrow and watch thousands of movies and television shows, or listen to your favorite new music tracks on your smartphone, tablet or computer. There is no waiting to borrow and Hoopla's automatic return means no late fees. Stream or download for viewing offline. New movies and music are added weekly

Our Overdrive Collection includes eBooks and eAudiobooks. You'll find fiction and non-fiction titles for all age groups. These ebooks and eAudiobooks can be checked out with a valid Herrick District Library card and downloaded to a computer, portable audio device or eReader, including iPod, Nook, Sony Reader, Kindle, many smart phones and most MP3 players. Streaming Audiobook Collection 

This collection of 1000 audiobook titles are always available online.  The collection includes adult, teen, and children's titles.  An internet connection is required. 

Streaming eBook Collection  

A middle school and high school collection which contains over 600 titles! This collection contains a vast array of YA/Teen novels, classics, poetry, short stories, YA/Teen audiobooks , our very popular graphic novels, and world class educational videos from National Geographic. Internet connection required.

 
 
 
This ebook collection offers nearly 15,000 fiction and non-fiction titles, including the classics, speeches, government reports and popular titles in computing. These ebooks do not require any special software - they are read online, in a browser window.
