2022 marks 25 years of Herrick District Library!
We look forward to celebrating all year long, and we can't do it without you. Every other week we will feature something that recognizes this special occasion inside the library, on our website, or on social media.
Watch for opportunities to help us celebrate the library's silver anniversary through these bi-weekly features. We might invite you to share your memories of HDL's past, favorite things about the library then or now, favorite titles, or dreams for what your library could look like in the next 25 years. We can't wait to hear about your experiences with HDL over the years.
In May of 1997 Holland Township, Laketown Township, Park Township, and the City of Holland voted in a millage referendum to establish and support a district library to serve the greater Holland community. 25 years later we continue to be thankful for that decision, and continue to appreciate the opportunity to serve our neighbors. Thanks for giving us a reason to celebrate our wonderful library this year.
