What is the Teen Advisory Board?
Be an active part of the community through Herrick Public Library by joining our Teen Advisory Board (TAB). This is a leadership opportunity where you will get to share ideas for teen programs, discuss teen books, organize community service events, and more. Meeting attendance does count as community service hours. If you’re looking for a fun way to earn your hours or are just passionate about the library we would love to have you join us.
Who is TAB?
All students in 8th – 12th grade are welcome to join. Those interested in joining need to make sure they fill out both the general teen volunteer application and the TAB extension application.
When are meetings?
Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 3:30 – 5:00 starting September 18th – May. Meetings take place in the Teen Activity Room on the second floor of the main branch.
Why should you join?

- Make a difference in your community
- Have Fun!
