One way to narrow down your book pick options is to choose a theme for your book club. A theme can basically be anything you want, but here are a slew of ideas to get you started.

Do you enjoy learning new things? How about an educational book club. You could choose a set number of books to read about a topic, and then choose new topics after each cycle. For example, your group could decide that they want to spend six meetings reading about a topic and so choose six books on that topic, before moving on.
