Get a Library Card

Residents

Any resident of the City of Holland or an area township served by Herrick District Library is entitled to a free library card. Library cards can be used to borrow books, DVDs, CDs, and more. You can also use it to download ebooks and other digital items, access databases and online skills training, and log on to library computers.

To obtain a Herrick District Library card, you will need current identification with your name and current address. Please visit the Main Branch or the North Branch in-person to apply for a full-service library card or apply online.

Visitors

Non-residents and visitors who wish to use the library may purchase an annual card for $100. This card grants access to computers and check outs of Herrick-owned items but does not allow access to digital materials or items loaned from other libraries.

Visitors wishing to use the computer or printer may sign up at the information desk for a temporary computer access account free of charge. Please bring a driver's license or photo ID.
