How to Borrow

Placing Holds

You can place a hold on an item owned by HDL or another library in the Lakeland Library Cooperative through the online catalog and have it sent to the library for pick-up.  If you need help placing a hold, our information team can be reached at (616)355-3101 or through our web form

You may check the status of your holds online by logging into your library account or by calling our automated telephone line at (616)494-8282.  You will need your library barcode number and PIN to use the online or automated telephone systems.

When you have been notified your holds are ready for pickup, you may pick them up from the hold shelf inside the library or use our curbside service during our open hours.
