Events for Homeschool Families

As we head into the school year, we have some new program series for homeschool families. Our goal is to give families a chance to connect with other homeschoolers in the community, as well as learn about the various resources the library has to offer. It's also an opportunity for the library to learn more about what homeschool families might need from the library.

The first of our program series is our Homeschool Hangout which happens at the Main Library on the third Tuesday of the month from 2pm to 3pm. We'll provide some games, a craft, and feature books and resources from the library. It's a great opportunity to get to know other homeschool families in the area.

The second program series is the Tween Homeschool BYOBook Club at the North Branch on the third Thursday of the Month from 2pm to 3pm. Each month features a different genre, where participants will share books with each other and get the opportunity to create a bookish craft. It's a great opportunity to get new reading recommendations!

In addition to our programs, don't forget about all the great e-resources the library also has, including free online tutoring from HelpNow by Brainfuse.
