Learn from a state-certified Wild Mushroom Expert who will share an overview of the terminology, skills and resources needed to accurately identify many of the mushroom species in Michigan.

Meet us at the Outdoor Discovery Center to learn more about the native plants that grow this time of year. The group will assemble on the front porch of the Visitor’s Center before taking a leisurely walk on the ADA-accessible trails.

Grow your own farm in a glove…yes, a glove! With the help of Ottawa County Agriculture in the Classroom, kids will plant five different seeds in the fingers of a food handler's glove. Given a few days, and some water, the glove will be alive with growing sprouts!
