TEEN ART GALLERY: ONE COLOR PAINTING
For Middle and High Schoolers
Learn how to apply one color and still make a distinctive painting. Stop by the YS desk between April 1-15 to participate in this month's art gallery. All materials provided, while supplies last. All art due April 15th and will be displayed April 16 to May 15.

TWEEN ART GALLERY: FINISH THE PAINTING
For ages 9-14
This month's Tween Art Gallery is a finish the painting challenge. Stop by the North Branch and get canvas where the painting has already been started. The real challenge is including what's already there in your own painting. This art gallery runs April 1st-15th. All materials provided, while supplies last. All art due April 15 and will be displayed April 16 - May 15.

A WALK THROUGH JURASSIC PARK
For all ages
Take a step back in time and explore the time of the dinosaurs. From Saturday, April 5th through Sunday, April 27th visit Hemlock Crossing and enjoy a Walk through Jurassic Park! There will be two different routes for you to take on. The first is going to be for all ages that will be have fun facts and multiple choice questions all about dinosaurs. This trek will only be about a half mile. Our second trek is a bit longer and will feature more trivia questions and fun facts about the books and films of Jurassic Park and will be closer to 2 miles. Be sure to watch out for dinosaurs and those pesky insects.

EXPLORING GEODES: LET’S GET CRACKING!
For ages 6+
Get your hands on a geode and crack it open to see what you discover. We will provide a geode, a hammer and goggles for each registered attendee and you will smash it open to reveal the quartz crystals inside! You can then take home your opened geode and continue to admire it!

RECORDING STUDIO 101
Adults and teens
The first of hour of Recording Studio 101 requires registration and will walk attendees through the basics of using our Recording Studio's podcast station and provides an overview of the digital audio workstation software (Audacity (FREE), Pro Tools - Artist & FL Studio - Signature) available. We'll also show you where to find additional learning resources to get a podcast up and running or record your own music.
* Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops and download the FREE Audacity audio editing software or a free trial of Pro Tools or FL Studio prior to arriving.
