Full-Time Librarian I – Youth Services
$65,395 – $79,976 annually + full benefits
The Library is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and community-driven Youth Services Librarian to inspire children ages 0–12 and their families. If you’re passionate about early learning, literacy, and helping young people thrive. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact.
You’ll lead engaging programs, reimagine dynamic play spaces, and help shape the future of youth services. This role also builds strong partnerships with schools and community organizations to extend library services beyond our walls and better support kids and families.
This full-time position requires a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution or a Master’s degree in a related field of study. Previous experience working with children is required. Spanish language fluency is preferred.
Weekly schedule: (hours may vary and there is some flexibility)
- Monday 9:00am-6:00pm
- Tuesday 12:00pm-9:00pm
- Wednesday 12:00pm-9:00pm
- Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm
- Friday 9:00am-6:00pm (off when working Saturday)
- Every 3rd Saturday 9:00am-6:00pm
- Occasional Sun 1:00pm-6:00pm
