Book clubs aren't just for adults! If you're looking for opportunities to read more as a family or to get your kids excited about reading, check out the book club offerings below.
Kids Comic Book Club
This book club meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 4pm to 5pm in the Children's Activity Room. Instead of focusing on a book, each meeting focuses on a theme. The upcoming themes for Spring are:
- March: Adaptations
- April: Drama
- May: Food
Family Book Club
This book club meets one Saturday, every other month from 11am to 12pm in the Children's Activity Room. We'll read and discuss a book as a family, followed by a craft inspired by the book. Upcoming books:

May 16: Smile by Raina Telgemeier
Chapters & Steps: An Audiobook Walking Club
Get those steps in while listening to your audiobook! Meet fellow audiobook lovers at different parks around Holland, walk for 30-45 minutes, and then chat about what you're reading in the last 15 minutes. Find us in these places this spring:
March 9, 6:30pm-7:30pm: Meet at Herrick Main Library, walk around Downtown Holland
April 11, 9:30am-10:30am: Meet at Hemlock Crossing Nature Center
May 14, 4pm-5pm: Meet at Paw Paw East Picnic Area
