Exploring Engineering at the Library

August officially kicked off a new series of programs at Herrick District Library: Exploring Engineering! Each month, we will host a drop-in style event where kids can learn more about the field of engineering and STEM. This fall, you can expect topics like: biology, biomedical, and computers/technology. At each event, kids will get the chance to learn from a professional from the field as well as try a hands on activity. It’s a great way for kids interested in the field of engineering to see the different career paths they can pursue. And have fun doing it!

For the fall, join us on the second Thursday of each month at the North Branch to spark STEM curiosity! Other topics you can expect in the future include: chemistry, nature, automotive, electrical, environmental, civil, and aerospace.
