Welcome to Holland, where you can wring history from the soil. We have Dr. Albertus van Raalte standing tall in Centennial Park. He founded a college that is still a beacon of the community. We have tulips and an official windmill. What more does one need?
How about the human connection? How was this city built from the ground up? Who were those individuals that poured their time, money--their entire existence into building businesses and Holland as we know it today?
Enter Dr. Steve VanderVeen, who has spent more than two decades studying and teaching all aspects of the business world. You may have read his columns in the Holland Sentinel diving into the lives of local business leaders. He will join us at Herrick District Library to present Stories of Holland's Life Entrepreneurs. No registration is required.
You will have a chance to ask questions and chat with Steve. Come and enjoy the presentation and travel through time to learn much more about Holland.
