Let's be real--one of the best things about October is the free candy that everyone hands out on the 31st! Whether you're a chocolate fan, a gummi fan, or an everything fan, most kids will tell you that candy is where it's at this month. While you're waiting for the big day, and perhaps stockpiling the candy you plan to give away, check out some of the candy-related programs happening at the library this month!
Beginning October 1st, come by either the Main Library or the North Branch to pick up a Spooktacular Candy Experiment, appropriate for kids ages 6 and up. And for all ages, including the adults in your family, you can also come to either branch to participate in our Candy Lineup Challenge--available all month long. Test your skills for a chance to win a tasty surprise!
