Yoto Players
A Yoto player is essentially an interactive listening device that allows kids to listen to stories, music, podcasts, and radio via physical cards. It's a great alternative for parents who are looking for screen-free alternatives for audiobooks, and work great at bedtime!
Yoto, the company, also has an app that allows you to download audiobooks onto your phone with the physical card. Once you download the app, you can scan the card and play the audiobook through your phone. When you do this with one of the cards from the library, the audiobook will stay on your device until someone else checks out and scans the card.
You can find the collection of Yoto cards we currently have available for checkout by searching "Yoto card" on our website. Make sure to check back as we continue to add more titles.

Tonieboxes
A Toniebox is similar to a Yoto player in that it is an interactive listening device designed to play stories, songs, and educational content. Instead of cards, Tonies have a figure that sits on top of the box and plays music and stories related to that character. These are designed for younger children and tend to be more durable.
Unfortunately, at this time, there is no option to listen to Tonie figures on an app like the Yoto cards. You can find our collection of Tonie figures in a similar way to Yoto cards, by searching for "Tonie" on our website.
Additionally, we also have a Toniebox kit in our Library of Things collection: HDL Library of Things: Tonies Audiobook Kit
