The New Library App

Many have asked for it and it is finally here: a library app for your phone. This new app is available from the App Store and the Play store. Just search for Lakeland Library and install to get started. Why do you want this library app? Let me show you a couple of reasons.

Always Have Your Card in Hand

Once you have logged into the Lakeland Library app, you now have a digital version of your card that you can use at the self-checkouts. You can also add the cards of your whole family so you can pick up your spouse's holds when they don't have time to come in themself. Just tap Add a card and type in each of your family's cards to have them all handy. You can see what is currently checked out, what is on hold, when items are due for all of the cards logged into the app.

Another nifty feature is that you can scan the barcodes of books you are interested in and save them to a list to check out later. You can do this with library books and books you find in the store.

Check out the app for yourself!
