I am not a horror movie fan. Scary movies with lots of blood and gore? Nope, nope, nope. Count me out. But, a good scary book? That, I am here for. Perhaps it's because I can put the book down when I need a break and I'm not stuck in a dark movie theater where everyone will hear me scream at the jump scares. Or perhaps it's because I can unfold the mystery as quickly or slowly as I want. I love a good mystery where I get to try to figure out why the haunting is happening.
