Two Sentence Scary Story Contest

It was a dark and stormy night when Herrick District Library decided to host their first Two Sentence Scary Story Contest! This fall, kids and teens have the chance to write their scariest story in just two sentences. Stories can be submitted via this link from September 10-23, and the public will vote on the scariest story in October, with the chance to win prizes at the end of October. Start off spooky season right with your most spine tingling stories!

Keep in mind, stories should be: two sentences, less than 200 words, appropriate to display at the library, and they must be original work. Have questions about whether your story qualifies? Email us at kids@herrickdl.org.
