November is upon us and that means it’s National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo for those who are ‘in the know’). This year, we’re taking our writing practice seriously – starting off with a NaNoWriMo Kickoff event on the 1st , followed by weekly write-ins and workshops. We’re going to help you reach your word-count goals this year.
Good news! Herrick’s writing events don’t end on November 30th. No, my fellow friends of the pen and keyboard. You will not be abandoned to toil away at your notepads and laptops alone. Our brand-new Writers’ Workshop series will continue every-other Tuesday evening all winter long. Bring your essays, poems, and chapters of your novel to be read and critiqued by fellow writers. Meet new writing pals and learn tips of the trade from published peers.
