This year the Big Read Lakeshore is featuring Yuyi Morales’ autobiographical picture book, Dreamers/Soñadores as the Little Read. Dreamers’ lyrical text with Spanish words embedded throughout complements the conversation around the complexity of the “American Dream.” It artfully showcases Yuyi Morales’ personal journey immigrating to the United States with her young son.
