Book Group to Go!

Starting July 1^st, HDL’s Book-Group-To-Go service will have a brand-new reservation system!

Instructions:

1. Visit the HDL Book-Group-To-Go website: herrickdl.org/book-group-to-go/
2. Click “Reserve a Bag”. 
3. Click on the book cover image you’re interested in to read more about it.
4. Below the book’s description, there are green and red boxes.
   1. Green means you can select that pickup date.
   2. Red means the book is unavailable.
5. To view more dates, click the forward and backward arrows above the list of titles.
   1. OR click “Go To Date” to select a date further out.
6. Once you’ve selected a title and date, your summary will display at the bottom of the page.
7. Click the white “Add to Cart & Checkout” button to complete your reservation.
   1. If you click the blue “Add to Cart” button, then you will have to click the green “1 item / checkout” button at the top, right side of the page.
8. Read the Terms & Conditions, then click “Agree”.
   1. Don’t click “Add Another Booking”. The website won’t allow you to reserve more than one title at a time. If you have multiple reservations to make, you will need to make one at a time. (Unfortunately, we can’t remove this button from the website.)
9. Enter your “Full Name” and “Email”, then click “Submit my Booking”.
   1. An email address is required because it is the only way to change or delete reservations later on.
10. You will now see the “Booking Confirmed” page with all of your details. This information is also emailed to you.
    1. Your confirmation email will have a summary of your reservation and a link to make changes. Keep this confirmation email!
11. If you’d like to make another reservation, click the blue “Return to Booking Calendar” button.

Didn’t see a title you like? Both Herrick Main and the North Branch will soon have Grab & Go Book Club titles!

These titles will be held on a special shelf and available for check out for 6 weeks – just like our reservable BGTG kits. Each library location will have 5 copies of a title. There will also be regular checkout copies in our collection, including in digital format and (in most cases) a large print version.

(Please note, Grab & Go Book Club titles are not reservable ahead of time.)
