Every Friday since June 17, we have been having our Garden STEAM program at both Herrick Northside Branch and the downtown location with kids ages 6 -10 (the program goes til August 5. Please register on our website if you would like to participate!). We have kids measuring, weeding, and watering every week; keeping a log book for each vegetable. It’s been super exciting to watch the veggies grow! At the North Branch, I have 3 tubs of vegetables growing. We have jalapeno peppers, green peppers, tomatoes, yellow onions, and lots of cilantro. I also have some dill that will be put into one of the tubs soon! Here are some favorite kids’ books about vegetables! Enjoy your garden!
