Herrick District Library offers many great resources (check out this list for a small sample of what we offer). Some resources get more love than others; I'm looking at you Libby! But others deserve their chance to shine, and I'm writing this blog to tell you about Kanopy.
Kanopy takes pride in its carefully curated collection of films, focusing on quality over quantity. Its library boasts an impressive array of critically acclaimed movies, including independent films, classic cinema, international releases, and award-winning documentaries. With Kanopy, you can discover hidden gems, explore different genres, and broaden your cinematic horizons.
Herrick allows you eight borrows a month, which resets at the beginning of each month like Hoopla, but if you are in kids mode, watches are unlimited! You read that right. All kids movies, animated books, read-along stories, and TV shows can be watched without borrowing limits.
