Stride Into Summer

Warmer weather is the gentle encouragement we need to get outside. Michigan affords us many activities in the open air. "If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you." Visiting the beach, riding bikes, camping, and playing sports. There are so many options. Visit the Michigan DNR, opens a new window or your local township parks and rec websites for inspiration on all Michigan has to offer.

Lately, an outdoor activity I've been enjoying is running. Before you "run" away from this blog, hear me out. Running, as well as walking or jogging, can be refreshing. It's inexpensive to get started; you just need some comfortable shoes, and a place to run, which can be practically anywhere! You've heard of a runner's high. Running is a great way to enjoy the air and get out of your head.
If you are the tiniest bit curious about running this summer, take a look at the stories and resources below to find your stride.
