October is one of my favorite times of the year. The leaves start to change, the nights get cooler, there are plenty of chances to drink hot cider, and Halloween is right around the corner. Having been one of my favorite holidays growing up, I have plenty of fond memories of dressing up like my favorite super heroes or even once as a Jedi. I also remember that there were always plenty of classmates and neighborhood kids that donned the witch’s robes and filled up their own bags with the many varieties of Halloween candy that our teachers and neighbors had to offer. Here at the library, we have a bunch of great books to pique the interest of those who have ever dressed up like a witch for Halloween. Spanning from fantasy to historical fiction to cozy mysteries, there is something for everyone. Just remember, not every witch you encounter will be the witch in which you may be looking for. Enjoy!
